The Pastificio Cerere Foundation presents on Thursday 20th October 2005 Why?, exhibition promoted and organized by the gallery apart curated by Cecilia Casorati.
The works were specifically created for this exhibition and despite their diversity the ‘light’ and consciously ironic languages employed reveal a common approach of three young artists: Mariana Ferratto, Luana Perilli and Luca Viccaro.
Although the amusing and ironic elements are the first things to grab any onlooker’s attention, they are not however the main aim of the three young artists’ research. These elements contribute to their distinctive way of expressing – and showing – how they relate to the rest of the world,defining worries, doubts and even hardships with a lighter touch.
