The Pastificio Cerere Foundation introduces for the first time a German-Iranian artist Parastou Forouhar; she currently lives and works in Germany and has been in 2006 a scholarship at the Villa Massimo German Academy in Rome.
Her new work is a video with stylized figures that create some geometric and decorative ornaments. Forouhuar’s work tries to investigate the ambivalence of the aesthetical value hiding in it communication elements which show atrocious tortures.
