Made and told. Made in Italy told by the youth

13 December 2016 - 14 January 2017
final exhibition

The exhibition Made and told. Made in Italy told by the youth is the final event of the homonymous project funded by the Ministry of Education, University and Research (MIUR) and carried out by the secondary school Leon Battista Alberti in Rome, in collaboration with Fondazione Pastificio Cerere and Melting Pro.

Made in Italy is the symbol of the Italian industrial model that boasts a long exciting and successful period of great achievements. It is one of the best known and appreciated brands in the world, the label of a know-how that makes our creativity, quality and originality stand out in the eyes of other countries.

Thanks to its history and the atmosphere that is still pervading it, Pastificio Cerere is an interesting cultural site, closely related to the concept of Made in Italy. The students came into direct contact with this reality by meeting the professionals of the fields of art, design, fashion and photography: Myriam B, Ottavio Celestino, Eligio Paoni, Pietro Ruffo, Andrea Stoger. They were divided into five work teams, according to their talent and their own creative skills, and they actively participated in the workshops that the artists held, where they had the chance to design and create original works. Moreover, they told their own experience by using the digital storytelling technique, a creative process used to develop a personal story in a digital format, which combines the art of oral storytelling with technology.

The works were developed during the five workshops and the resulting digital stories are exhibited.
